Snake River Canyon Rim Trail Project
The City of Twin Falls is committed to completing the Snake River Canyon Rim trail from Dierkes Lake to Federation Point west of Washington St. N., with a spur south to the CSI campus and a small addition northwest of the Gun Club. The estimated cost exceeds $1 million.
Twin Falls Community Foundation is providing funds management, and the Magic Valley Trail Enhancement Committee is spear-heading the fund-raising with numerous grant applications, creative solicitations, community events, business-leader challenges and service-club activities.
WE ASK FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION. Twin Falls Community Foundation is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) organization, and donations are fully tax deductible. Every donation, large or small, helps meet this important goal. Cash is welcome, of course, but so are stocks and other cash-equivalents. Consult a tax professional for personal advice.
We thank our community, corporate sponsors, and the support of all participants who have been involved in the fun runs and other fund raising events for the last 8 years! We would not be here without the amazing community support.

A big thank you to Miles Daisher and his Summer Solstice Event . He BASE jumped off the Perrine Bridge 62 times in 24 hours and raised over $1000 for the Snake River Canyon Rim Trail.
Downtown Archway Project
Archway Project - Become a Partner
For years, the City of Twin Falls allowed non-profit organizations to advertise events, community fundraisers and special announcements on banners stretched across Shoshone Street. In the fall of 2016 the City terminated this practice for reasons of safety and cost, but expressed an interest in providing an alternative solution. Citizens proposed an electronic message center option to be displayed on an archway spanning Shoshone Street at City Park. A citizen sub-committee was created consisting of representatives from the community, City Council and the County Commission. Design concepts were submitted along with information regarding cost estimates for the project. The design concept pictured below has been approved by City Council.
The estimated cost for the project is approximately $250,000.00. In addition to funds from the City of Twin Falls we are looking for community partnerships in helping provide funding for this project. Businesses, individuals and families that want to support the project are welcome to contribute.
The Sign Will Be Used For
A WIDE VARIETY OF NON-COMMERCIAL MESSAGES expected to include important information from Twin Falls City & County, CSI and schools, emergency and public safety notices like “Amber Alerts,” community events and non-profit activities of many kinds.
A recognition monument will be placed at the site to acknowledge donations. As a thank you and recognition for your donations between $100-$250 a brick including your name or message will be placed at the base of the monument. With a donation greater than $250 your name, organization or business name, will be displayed on the monument.
If you would like to donate to the archway project, please click on the "donate" button below. Donations are tax deductible. For donations of $100 or more click here for a mail-in form to provide brick or monument information.
Exciting things are starting to happen in downtown Twin Falls. The Rogerson Hotel is gone, and the footprint for the new Downtown Commons is clear. Construction of the new public gathering space, reconstruction of Main Avenue and the new downtown City Hall is underway.
